I must start by saying that this album is not what you would expect. If you have ever listened to a lot of White Rainbow or the more ambient Acid Mothers Temple/Kawabata Makoto releases, you will know what to expect. The album, though only consisting of two songs, is a true tour de force. Both tracks consist of a more or less droning, somewhat abrasive guitar accompanied by a more spaced out guitar. Though reminiscent of a common raga, the tracks are more alaps than actual songs or compositions. This is highly recommend for all folks interested in ambient jammers!Tuesday, December 14, 2010
